Today, James took the day off to do yard work and enjoy the great weather. Unfortunately, I had to go to work. It was sunny and 70 degrees here in Columbia. His big project for the day was to tear down the old hunting cabin that was out behind the house. About a year ago, a very big old tree fell on it and crushed 1/2 of it......so it was just a big eye sore out there. I think he had that completed by 10 am so he jumped on Ted, his road bike, and did a Guthry loop. When I got home around 4, he was up in the clearing burning brush and things he has cut down in the past few months. He took me and Alli out there to demonstrate to us why Christmas trees are dangerous and, sure enough, when he threw a whole cedar tree on to the fire, POOF, it was a huge fire ball in an instant.
I looked all over and I can’t find a photo of the cabin. Should have taken a before and after just for fun. Here is a photo of Alli sitting on the big tree that squashed the hunting cabin.
