First thing Alli wanted when we got to Grandma and Grandpas house was some strawberries.
This morning I had a very pleasant run (10 miles @ 8:30 pace) at Smithville Lake while James met some friends to paddle.
This is the trial I ran on. It meanders along the edge of the lake and is adjacent to some very nice camping areas. Aside from some goose poop on the trail it was just picturesque.
After our training fun, we had to stop by and visit my brother Bill who lives very near there.
He was kind enough to feed us lunch.
Back at Grandma and Grandpas, Allia played with the neighbor kids.
Of course we all ate Grandma’s amazing cooking and headed home long after bedtime.
