Tuesday James drove all the way from Missouri up north of Chicago to pick up his new race canoe. This new boat has an outrigger so it won’t be as tipsy as his old boat which means he can use it on windy days and in rougher/bigger bodies of water.
After picking up his new toy, he drove all night to get home and arrived back at our house at 5 am Wednesday morning. Poor thing was wiped out.
Where to store a boat this long is a dilemma that my husband solved by making this really nifty spot at the top of our garage. It fits in with only an inch to spare.
