This morning I really enjoyed my 7 mile with Julie. The temperature outside was more pleasant that it has been a long time. We talked girl talk and mom stuff and the run just flew by. Best of all, I think I finally have the new shoe inner soles adjusted so my feet are happy.
Next we packed up the family and headed 1 hour north to Macon to visit Long Branch State Park with the BIG lake. The plan was to swim and James would sneak in some time paddling. Well, we arrived to find that the beach was flooded and closed. We were so disappointed. After some time on the playground we decided to just go back to Columbia and take Allia to Stephens Park Lake to swim.
