Grandma and Grandpa came to visit and we had a really great weekend.
The weather was so beautiful.
Grandpa and Daddy painted the garage while we girls……

played with the bubble machine that Grandma brought for Allia.

took Grandma up to see Allia's school and Allia demonstrated her climbing skills on the school playground.

we also did some climbing at Stephen's lake park.

Allia loves to play in the sandbox and had to take her shoes off first.

Grandma pushed Allia in the somewhat wobbly swing.

The chickens are laying lots of eggs and Allia just loves to collect them.

We had a bit of a scare when the chicken were out of the fence (they love rooting and scratching in the woods) and a fox came by to see if he could get a meal. Luckily, Grandma was nearby and saved the day by scaring off the fox. We put the chickens back in the fence.

Allia can now pedal her bike all by herself!

The garage turned out so very nice and I am so glad they painted it. I admit that before they did it I thought it was rather unnecessary. Once again, James has proven me wrong.
