Memorial Day
(sick for the holiday)
Alli put cups on her feet in the tub. I put her hair in pony tails........she pulled them out minutes later.
New Clam outfit.
We slept in this morning…..waking up around 7 am. I woke with a terrible head ache and assumed it was allergies. Then I noticed that my elbow hurt. This was odd and I could not see anything wrong with it. I assumed I had slept on it crooked or something. Alli got up and we gave her a bath and fed her some breakfast; her favorite sausage and eggs. Daddy had breakfast and I drank my coffee as usual. Then I started to feel a bit dizzy and nauseous. James needed to go into work and I felt like I needed to lie down. I hit the couch and he left. I put PBS kids on for Alli and proceeded to fall asleep……..actually, it was more like drifting in and out of consciousness. I would open my eyes and see that Alli was sitting in front of me watching TV and then go back to sleep. Around 10 or so (I think), she got crabby and she appeared tired, so I put her down for her nap a bit early. She went right to sleep. I decided I should stay up, but I sure felt stiff and achy and tired. I sat down to watch the Giro d'italia and promptly passed out again. I remember thinking I wanted to wake up and I couldn’t. The phone rang and I saw it was Elissa, but I really did not have the energy to talk. I passed out again. Seriously, I was so wiped out that I could not talk. I could barely walk to the bathroom and back to the couch. Around 1pm James phoned to see how I was and to tell me he would be heading home soon. I spoke to him and decided I was feeling better so I got up for a little while. James arrived home to watch Alli and I was still feeling stiff and sore. All my muscles were throbbing. I could not believe how achy I was, especially my back and legs. My stomach was feeling better so I went ahead and took an ibuprofen and lay back down. Well, I was out again. The Ibuprofen helped and my achy body was better, but I still had a hard time staying awake. Around 9, James’ told me to go to bed. I was still sleeping on the couch. I had no idea it was so late. I got up and moved and passed out again. At this point I remember thinking that my crown (my tooth) was hurting.
