What is our 16 month old up to? Mostly silliness!
This morning, she was walking down the hall at work on her tip toes……..cute stuff. Sorry I did not have time to get the camera. And NO, she is not going to be a ballerina.

She also has found great pleasure and joy by standing on this box. She likes to climb up there and play with the light switch, drink her bottle, watch people out in the hall or just make a lot of noise from her perch.
Another great joy of late is eating an apple. Not a cut up apple, those are no fun, but a whole apple is a prized possession she will chew on for the longest time.
She is into having both hands full. If she can, she likes having a bottle in each hand. She will drink from one then the other and think she is really something special. Here she was doing the bottle in one hand and flute in the other.
Yesterday morning, she ate her whole breakfast while sitting in the kitchen cabinet. I would spoon her oatmeal each time she opened her mouth. She played in the cabinet for the longest time, ignoring mommy, but popping her mouth open from time to time wanting me to spoon in more of her cereal.........which I did.
She also likes hugging her stuffed toys more these days. Yesterday, she got her favorite stuffed frog named Ah-ha, all wet and she really wanted to hold him and I was trying to dry him off and she was mad at me for operating on her precious frog when she wanted to play with him.
Lately, when we play her DVD at work, she has to move her pink chair around in front of the chest so she can sit in it while watching her show. The minute I turn on the DVD player, she heads for the chair and gestures to me that it must be moved for her. (this is a photo of her hogging an apple core, while huddled in her movie chair)
Also, when Gail comes by my office to take her out for a smoke break, she will run and get her coat and her ball right away……..she knows the drill! And, if they are going to the shop, not the patio, and don’t want her to bring the ball, she will protest and insist that the ball needs to go along with her.
Alli got some new shoes and wore them to work yesterday. She was very proud of them and showed them off to everyone.
In the last few days she has decided that getting a hold of a marker and drawing on herself is great fun. This morning, she drew on both her white socks with my blue highlighter.
