Tonight they took the official ballet recital photos. I took off work early to pick up Beanie and take her home so we could clean up, do her hair and be looking fantastic for pictures to be taken.
I was smart enough to allow myself and extra half hour and I was really glad I did. Getting this girls long straight hair up into a cute bun was totally nerve wracking and I still can’t believe it turned out so nice. For the longest time Alli would not allow me to put her hair up in a bun, but I was sly enough to talk her into it and when it was done, she was really feeling elegant.
After photos were taken, the girls performed their dance routine for the parents. I recorded it but unfortunately can’t figure out how to up load it.
When we were all done, I made her change out of her costume so it would not get dirty. She was thrilled to change into her latest favorite dress and felt that more photos should be taken!
