Allia missed her first Tumbling / Dance class when she was sick so tonight was the last of 3 weeks of lessons.
Here the teacher helped her do a back bend. Allia’s eyes were sparkling with joy to get the one-on-one attention from the teacher. Generally, if I tried to help or direct I got told “no” and she pulled away from me. I did my best to let her do her own thing. Lately it seems that her independence is becoming a bit more like defiance.

I thought it was so neat that the teacher had a parachute. The kids just loved it.

This picture was taken seconds before Allia tried to pull the streamers off the end of her baton and her mommy told her to stop and she said “NO” really loud and then Mommy gave the baton back to the teacher and escorted a screaming toddler to the car.
