We spent most of the weekend working on the house. Things are finally starting to come together. We can now get both cars into the garage! Last Thursday we got the last of the carpet installed. I am so relieved to have that project behind me. We immediately put the furniture into the room and it is so nice to have drawers again and the bed up off the floor. We are still trying to figure out exactly what we want to hang where. The furniture fits different than the other house and everything looks different and it is not as simple as just putting it back where it came from.

Friday evening after Alli got out of her bath, Daddy came home so she rushed to great him. I quickly grabbed my camera. Naked babies are the best!

Saturday we got the bedroom curtains up and finally sold the old HUGE desk that I was having trouble giving away. I also took another load of stuff to the Salvation Army. Sunday James hung new cabinets in the laundry room. They are wonderful. Crazy thing.....the room seems bigger.

I also decided on a green color for the kitchen. It will be one shade darker than the sample I painted. This green is just a little too pastel.

Still can’t make up our mind on the color for the family room. We will have to do another sample spot like we did in the kitchen, since that worked out so well.

Sunday Zoe and I baked Pecan Tassies. They were pretty easy to make and they turned out very yummy. The only hard part was pressing the dough into the little mini muffin cups. As soon as they were cool, they were gone!
