Birthday weekend in Kansas City

We all had the best time visiting Grandma and Grandpa Kaufman this weekend and celebrating Alli's first birthday. Alli enjoyed her new toys and playing with everyone. Her favorite trick this weekend was finger kissing with Grandpa (think ET).
James and I got to go mountain biking twice out at Landahl. My favorite trail is Tasty Goodness! I am still riding my old Schwinn Homegrown although lately it is requiring some maintenance. James just put new cartridge bearings in my integrated headset which stopped a totally annoying front end squeak. That old bike has served me well over the years. Funny thing is, I just named her……..”Homey”. Yea, I don’t get any points for creativity!
